Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using ApplySmooth, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What the service does

ApplySmooth is an AI-powered resume tailoring platform. You upload a resume and a job description; the service analyzes them and suggests rewrites. All AI output is a suggestion. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding what to include in any resume you submit to an employer. ApplySmooth is not a recruiting service and does not guarantee employment outcomes.

3. Account and eligibility

You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. One account per person. Do not share accounts or resell access.

4. Plans and billing

ApplySmooth offers three plan tiers:

• •Free: one resume run, no charge. A run is one resume plus one job description pairing, with rewrites and export included in that session.
• •Starter: $9 per month. Includes up to 12 analyses per day, bullet and section rewrites, and PDF/DOCX export.
• •Pro: $19 per month. Includes up to 30 analyses per day, Resume Pool with Best match, and priority rewrite quality.

Subscriptions are billed monthly. Daily analysis allowances reset every day and do not roll over.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access until then. We do not issue prorated refunds for partial months.

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will review it. Refunds outside of billing errors are at our discretion.

Run credits that have already been consumed are not refundable. Unused credits on a cancelled account are forfeited at the end of the billing period.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use ApplySmooth to generate resumes containing false credentials, fabricated employment history, or misrepresented qualifications. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any resume you submit to an employer. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.

7. AI-generated content

ApplySmooth uses large language models to suggest rewrites. These suggestions are generated automatically and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or phrasing that does not match your intent. Always review AI output before using it. ApplySmooth is not liable for any outcome resulting from AI-generated content you choose to use.

8. Privacy

Your use of ApplySmooth is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from settings. Your data is permanently removed after a 7-day grace period.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
